Aduna, the common network Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)-focused venture between some of the world’s leading telecom operators and Ericsson, has announced several new partnerships with major companies.

Microsoft is joining the Aduna community as a technology partner. The collaboration will focus on scaling Aduna’s platform built on Microsoft Azure and integrating Microsoft AI to enable actionable insights and intelligence for enterprises and developers using network APIs globally.
Aduna’s aggregated network APIs will be made available as native Microsoft services via partners in the Azure Marketplace. This will give Microsoft’s global developer and enterprise community direct access to network functionality including SIM Swap detection, phone number verification, real-time device location, and on-demand quality-of-service controls.
Japanese communication service providers SoftBank Corp and NTT DOCOMO have signed memorandums of understanding with Aduna. The SoftBank collaboration will focus on expanding developer access to standardized telecom APIs and supporting industry-wide initiatives such as the GSMA Open Gateway.
By combining SoftBank’s advanced infrastructure and digital expertise with Aduna’s unified integration platform, the two companies aim to lower barriers for innovation and make it easier for businesses to embed connectivity intelligence into their applications.
Through the DOCOMO collaboration, the service provider’s advanced network capabilities will be accessible via Aduna’s unified platform, enabling enterprises and digital service providers to enhance customer experiences, streamline security workflows, and reduce integration complexity.
With DOCOMO joining the platform, Aduna will extend its coverage in Japan, broadening its reach in one of the world’s most advanced digital markets and enabling greater extensibility for enterprise and developer use cases at scale.
The addition of SoftBank and DOCOMO, alongside the previously announced KDDI Corporation equity partner news, means that all of Japan’s major service providers are now part of the Aduna ecosystem.
Aduna is also entering into a strategic partnership with U.S.-based communications technology company Syniverse. The partnership will enable Syniverse to integrate with Aduna’s unified API platform. Through the partnership, Syniverse seeks to offer its customers seamless access to powerful network APIs, including SIM Swap, Number Verification and Device Location, across a trusted, multi-operator environment.
India-based global system integrators, Wipro and Tech Mahindra, have also joined Aduna’s partner ecosystem. Tech Mahindra and Wipro will integrate Aduna’s harmonized network APIs, including SIM Swap, Number Verification, Device Location, and Quality on Demand into enterprise transformation initiatives across industries such as financial services, manufacturing, logistics, and public sector.
Aduna says global system integrators are uniquely positioned to connect telecom capabilities with enterprise systems. By embedding network APIs into digital workflows, they help enterprises enhance security, accelerate onboarding, improve communications, and meet compliance requirements without navigating telco complexity. Aduna says global system integrators also play a critical role in helping mobile operators integrate with the Aduna platform by offering business consulting, service frameworks, and technical onboarding support.
UK Channel Islands-based Communications as a Service (CPaaS) provider JT Global is to join Aduna’s partner ecosystem to integrate a new set of high-trust network APIs into its communications platform.
The partnership will enable JT Global to deliver enhanced authentication, identity verification, and fraud prevention capabilities to its global enterprise customers that are critical tools in today’s increasingly digital and mobile-first world.
Through Aduna’s unified API platform, JT Global will gain seamless access to standardized network APIs such as SIM Swap and Number Verification.
