Southfield, Michigan, May 19, 2025: Justin Lampman, 123NET’s Chief Operating Officer, has been named one of DBusiness magazine’s ‘30 in Their Thirties’ for 2025. This annual recognition honors metro Detroit business professionals in their thirties who are driving meaningful change within their companies, industries and communities.
Lampman and his fellow honorees were recognized at a celebratory breakfast on May 14 at the International Conference Center in Detroit. The Class of 2025 is featured in the May/June 2025 issue of DBusiness.
Lampman began his career at 123NET, a Michigan-based provider of fiber internet, colocation and voice services, in 2013 as a Field Technician. Over the past decade, he has steadily risen through the ranks, holding several leadership roles of increasing responsibility. Before being appointed COO, he led the company’s Fixed Wireless Service and launched its home fiber internet product in 2021.
As COO, Lampman is responsible for overseeing daily operations at 123NET. Under his leadership, the company continues to deliver operational and customer service excellence. With a team of more than 300 employees, 123NET operates one of the largest fiber network in Michigan, the state’s largest carrier hotel (home to the nonprofit Detroit Internet Exchange – the seventh-largest exchange point by throughput in North America), and four high-density data centers across the state.
In his DBusiness feature, Lampman said, “Working directly with customers obviously set me up really well to understand our product, and what we were trying to do at that base level. When you call [123NET], you’re talking to somebody who is local, which to most people is a relief. I like to think that local means easier to work with.”
