21st annual golf tournament to take place June 23, 2025, in Paoli, PA
EXTON, Pa. — (March 24, 2025) — The SCTE Foundation announces that sponsorships are now open for the 2025 Tom Polis Classic which will take place on Monday, June 23, 2025, at the Waynesborough Country Club in Paoli, Pennsylvania. The 21st annual golf tournament will provide a day of friendly competition, networking, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the broadband industry. The tournament honors Tom Polis and the enduring legacy he created, serving as a powerful reminder of the industry’s commitment to supporting others and fostering their professional growth.
“The Tom Polis Classic is more than just a golf tournament; it’s a celebration of industry, community, and collaboration,” said Bill Warga, vice chair of the SCTE Foundation. “Sponsors gain valuable visibility among our broadband tech industry leaders while supporting the Foundation’s mission to foster talent and innovation.”
Last year’s event was a tremendous success, with a 55% increase in corporate sponsors. Proceeds from the event directly benefit the educational initiatives and career development of SCTE members through grants and scholarship programs offered by the SCTE Foundation. Vital funds are raised to support workforce development — training, certification, and other opportunities — for individuals who might not otherwise have access.
