HGC Partners with Blackpanda Forge Strategic Alliance to Elevate Cybersecurity for Enterprises

Hong Kong, 11 December, 2024 — HGC Global Communications (“HGC”), a fully-fledged ICT service provider and network operator with extensive global coverage, today announce their partnership with Blackpanda, a premier cyber emergency response and cyber insurance firm in Asia, to fortify cyber resilience through their flagship IR-1 SaaS solution. Following this partnership, HGC will be the sole telecommunications operator in Hong Kong to offer Blackpanda’s advanced cybersecurity solutions, ensuring its customers have access to top-tier cyber incident response experts in the event of a suspected attack.

IR-1 is a comprehensive SaaS platform that offers cyber emergency response, continuous attack surface management (ASM) scans, and automated access to cyber insurance – all at a cost that is less than ten per cent of traditional incident response service. This service will seamlessly integrate with HGC’s industry-leading AI-empowered Security Operations Centers (SOCs), which have upgraded their “Fusion Armor” monitoring system to meet the highest security standards, ensuring 24/7 Threat Detection and Response.

The enhanced SOC offers advanced features such as attack simulations, vulnerability scanning, AI-driven threat detection and incident response planning alongside with Blackpanda’s IR-1 service, enabling swift threat isolation, damage containment, and efficient restoration to safeguard critical assets.
