AT&T is proud to announce the (25) winners of the 2024 Rising Future Makers Showcase, adynamic initiative recognizing and supporting students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who are making an impact in their communities and on their campuses.
Each winner will each receive $5,000, a 5G-enabled tablet with one year of AT&T service, and access to professional workshop opportunities, including mentoring sessions with AT&T executives aimed at expanding their networks and furthering their professional development.
“Our Rising Future Makers program hit a significant milestone this year, helping 100 HBCU students advance their careers and make the valuable connections they need to make impactful change in the world,” said Sabina Ahmed, Assistant Vice President of Sponsorships & Experiential at AT&T. “Through our purpose-driven sponsorships, we continue to champion innovation and growth by connecting the next generation of changemakers with the tools and resources they need to bring their ideas to life.”
Now in its fourth year, the Rising Future Makers Showcase continues to build upon AT&T’s commitment to empowering communities by dedicating resources to fostering growth and helping to bridge the digital divide. To date, the program has awarded $500,000 to 100 students, helping them further their dreams and connect to greater possibilities.
