Compass Datacenters Ranked #35 on Dallas Business Journal’s Best Places to Work for 2024

DALLAS – October 30, 2024 — Compass Datacenters has been recognized as one of the Dallas Business Journal’s 2024 Best Places to Work in North Texas, ranking 35th in the medium-sized category. The program, now in its 22nd year, saw over 330 nominations and more than 13,000 employee surveys conducted by Quantum Workplace. Rankings were determined by confidential surveys measuring team dynamics, leadership trust, and communication, with only the top-scoring companies earning a spot.

This recognition speaks to Compass’ deep-rooted culture, one that places humility, continuous improvement and integrity at the core of its success. From the first interaction with a new hire to their ongoing experience within the company, culture is central to Compass’ operations.

“Culture isn’t just a buzzword at Compass; it’s our compass,” said Anna Carlton, Compass’ Senior Vice President of People and Culture. “Our team’s dedication to fostering an environment where employees aren’t just made to feel valued but are truly valued, empowered, and supported, is what sets us apart. It’s not just words we say, it’s what we do every day. This recognition reflects the impact of bringing together a diverse group of people in a unique way to create a workplace where individuals can thrive both personally and professionally.”

At Compass, employees are encouraged to be curious, embrace vulnerability and communicate openly, fostering an environment where everyone can learn and grow. Failure is seen not as a setback but as a step toward success, creating a workplace where continuous improvement is celebrated.

Rachel Neal, Vice President of Global Safety, highlighted this unique approach: “Compass is committed to helping its people continuously improve. The Compass culture has impacted me personally because it’s removed a lot of stress. This company doesn’t expect me to be able to do everything, and they’re actually okay with me failing sometimes. We get to celebrate those failures on our path to success.”
