Washington, D.C. – Tribal Ready, PBC, a leader in bridging the digital divide in Indian Country, is pleased to welcome Vanesscia Cresci (Navajo Nation) as the new Vice President of Grants & Compliance.
Vanesscia most recently served as a broadband program specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce. In her role, she served as a federal program officer for the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program funded projects and provided technical assistance and support to over 35 tribal government grantees.

With a background in public health, she has a deep understanding of the importance of broadband to support the medical needs of tribal citizens in remote areas.”
Before joining the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program, Vanesscia was the director of research and public health at the California Rural Indian Health Board, Inc. located in Sacramento, California. In this role, she oversaw tribal public health projects, behavioral health projects, and the California Tribal Epidemiology Center and partnered with California tribes and tribal health programs.
Vanesscia is a citizen of the Navajo Nation and holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Arizona State University, a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
