Fiber Fast Homes CEO Scott Sampson to Discuss Mitigating Risks in Fiber Deployment on Panel at Fiber Connect 2024

Stresses Collaboration in Industry to Further Fiber Connectivity

Jacksonville, FL – July 23, 2024 – Scott Sampson. CEO of Fiber Fast Homes, will be part of a panel at Fiber Connect 2024 entitled Take a Chance on Me or Creating Demand and Mitigating Risk in New Markets at 1:30 p.m. ET on July 30 in Nashville, TN. Sampson will be featured with other leaders in the connectivity sector including those from Azotel Technologies, Cisco, Harry, and Innovative Technologies. Omdia’s Principal Analyst Alzbeta Fellenbaum will moderate the panel.

The panel will focus on mitigating risks for ISPs when working to deliver fiber Internet to users. The panelists will discuss where ISPs want to focus efforts around fiber deployment and how they’re working with various locations to do so. They will discuss such topics as customer acquisition, middle mile, how to work with cities, counties, and states, and how to secure outside funding to drive projects.

“I think we’ll really focus on mitigating risk for ISPs in all facets of operation,” Sampson said. “We’ll discuss specifically how to work with the various entities in the greater delivery equation of fiber Internet, including government groups, designers, builders and developers.”

According to Sampson, one theme the panelists have been focusing on in their prep meetings for the session is collaboration – collaboration among all players in the fiber ecosystem, including competitors. “Look, we all want the same thing,” he said. “We want to help proliferate this fabulous 100-year technology that will significantly alter connectivity and our lives in the future so why not work together. It just makes sense.”
