Field team management platform and telecommunications innovation consultancy are among the company’s launches at the event for internet providers.
Padtec, a leading manufacturer of optical transport systems, is introducing new features in its portfolio of services and digital solutions at the Abrint 2024 National Meeting, an event targeted at internet and telecommunications providers, that is being held this week (June 12 through 14) in São Paulo. With more than 20 years of experience in the sector, the company has more than 40 points of presence in Latin America, through which it provides various operational and maintenance services for the networks of telecommunications operators and providers.
One of Padtec’s announcements at the event is Smart Workspot, an online platform for managing field work teams (Workforce Management, or WFM) that work in network operations and maintenance. With software developed by the company, the platform allows integrated management of teams and service times and can be customized for each operation. It also has an application for offline access.
Another new offering presented at the show is InovaTec, an innovation consultancy dedicated to the telecommunications market that uses methodology tested and verified by Padtec over the years. The service is provided by a multidisciplinary team, which operates on four pillars: Identification of opportunities, Testing of possibilities (with prototype development, fast code and Lean Agile), Approach to continuous delivery and Impact assessment, with implementation of collection methods and data analysis.
The Smart Site solution, a cloud platform aimed at complete remote management of operator and ISP environments (sites) –available in a service model – will also be highlighted at the Padtec booth. With an intuitive graphical interface, Smart Site allows you to manage the entire infrastructure of a single site, providing greater agility and efficiency in identifying and solving day-to-day problems.
In its product line, Padtec is launching coherent pluggable transceivers with a compact size and low power consumption. With a capacity of 400 Gb/s, the new plug-ins can be used both in transponders and in routers from different suppliers available on the market. In addition, the company will be showing at its booth the first transponder of its new LightPad Max line, a product platform for DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) networks with very high data transmission capacity. Another highlight is a line of switches and routers from the Taiwanese company UfiSpace, offered by Padtec throughout Latin America.
