EkkoSense, the global leader in AI-powered data center optimization, hires Steve Lewis as VP of U.S. Sales as the company continues its global expansion and deepens its presence in North America. Over the past year, EkkoSense has grown its operations across the U.S., Europe and Australia/New Zealand markets and further developed its EkkoNet Global Partner network.
“EkkoSense is filling such a necessary and relevant role in the digital infrastructure industry, truly helping data center operators with their critical cooling, capacity, power and ESG challenges,” Steve Lewis said. “During a time when data center teams must attempt the seemingly impossible — meeting hockey-stick capacity demand while achieving never-before-seen efficiency and sustainability targets — EkkoSense is delivering quantifiable reductions in cooling energy usage, fast.”
Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, Steve brings more than 20 years of experience in data center and IT channel sales to EkkoSense. Most recently, Steve served as Global Vice President of Sales – Critical Power Division for SolarEdge Technologies, an international leader in smart energy technology. Over a four-year span as VP of Sales for Geist Global, he led the sales team to consistent double-digit revenue growth year over year. Steve also served as Director of Sales for DirectNET, Inc. (now 42U Data Center Solutions), a leader in data center efficiency solutions for data center and facilities managers.
“Steve speaks the language of data centers and understands operators’ pain points,” said EkkoSense Global Sales and Marketing Director, Matthew Farnell. “As we move closer and closer to our goal of making EkkoSoft Critical the top choice for data center optimization in the States, Steve’s expertise on our U.S. team will be invaluable.”
EkkoSoft Critical, EkkoSense’s 3D visualization and analytics software, enables data center operations teams and co-location providers to remove thermal and power risk, minimize cooling energy usage and costs, and support ESG programs through quantifiable carbon savings. Customers see results in just weeks, with project ROI timescales of under 12 months in many regions.
Headquartered in the UK, EkkoSense is quickly scaling across the U.S., delivering expertise on upcoming ESG regulations, automated sustainability reporting, thermal and power risk mitigation, and more. EkkoSense recently launched a partnership with Minneapolis-based Packet Power, hired Albuquerque-based Travis Talcott as Sales Engineer and joined the Hawaii-based Pacific Telecommunications Council.
