Render leads fiber deployment best practices at Fiber Connect 2023

DENVER, CO.—(August 18, 2023)—Global leader in geospatial network construction technology, Render Networks, today announced it will lend its expertise to Fiber Connect 2023. Render executives will join panels focused on fiber broadband deployment best practices, and the company will also showcase its latest innovations in the expo hall.

Fiber Connect 2023 is held August 20-23, in Orlando, FL., and is the largest fiber broadband conference in the world. This year’s event is expected to gather over 4,000 attendees from across the fiber broadband ecosystem to explore successful strategies for leveraging the NTIA’s momentous BEAD funding, efficiently building networks, deploying services, and connecting communities across the U.S.

“It is an exciting time for the fiber broadband industry and a privilege to participate in the Fiber Connect event. Each year this conference gathers leading experts to explore the latest innovations and best practices to keep our industry advancing,” said Sam Pratt, CEO at Render Networks. “We look forward to sharing our experience in helping network operators, builders, and utilities rapidly construct high-quality fiber networks as we all work toward the goal of connecting every household and business to reliable broadband services.”

Pratt will offer his expertise during sessions throughout the conference. On Monday, August 21, he will join the panel, “Navigating Deployment Challenges to Deliver Connectivity Faster,” alongside Irby Utilities and Connect2First. The session will explore how a rural utility successfully connected 10,000 rural households and completed 50% of its network a year ahead of schedule. On Tuesday, August 22, Pratt will join the panel, “Network Planning Best Practices,” with Corning, Google Fiber, Biarri Networks, and Congruex. The panel will highlight innovative transformations in how fiber networks are planned, engineered, and constructed, enabling operators to build more and build faster.

Render’s Director of GIS and Solutions Engineering Tom Brooks will join a Pre-Conference Workshop on Sunday, August 20, to explore “Best Practices: From Design to Installations.” Brooks will offer insight on successful fiber broadband deployment strategies, especially during the design and construction phases.

At booth 105 in the expo hall, Render will showcase its latest solution capabilities. To book time with Render at Fiber Connect, book a meeting here.
