Thousands of citizens enjoyed performances by singer ANSONBEAN and young musicians with AI elements to detect sound volume & enhance visitors’ experience. Bringing positive energy to boost the momentum of Hong Kong’s economic revival
Hong Kong, 17 July 2023 – HGC Global Communications Limited (HGC) has successfully hosted the first large-scale summer event, “HGC Summer Jam 2023,” on 14 and 15 July (Fri & Sat) at the Central Harbourfront Event Space. Through the music performances and various game booths during the weekend, HGC Group joined the Hong Kong citizen to bring positive energy in boosting the momentum of Hong Kong’s economic revival. HGC “Go Ahead, Performers!” music show as the finale, heated up the atmosphere to another level and thousands of others joining the YouTube livestream simultaneously to support the performers in which HGC Group has successfully extended its brand value to the streets while discovering and supporting more local musicians.
The event combined music, sports, and technology. In addition to multiple booths offering the latest technological gadgets for citizens to enjoy and experience, bands and young buskers were invited to perform on stage. HGC “Go Ahead, Performers!” music show, which has been held five times successfully, local performers and bands were invited to perform live, including artist ANSONBEAN, Friends, Rocksteady together with up-and-coming buskers, who thrilled the audiences with their songs. HGC also continued to deploy innovative AI technology by setting up a sound detection system near the stage to measure real-time sound volume of the audience. The “Greatest Cheers Award” was presented to the busker who received the highest cheers from the audience. In addition, HGC Group also set up multiple sets of cameras to capture the visitors’ journey, so as to adjust the on-site arrangement and optimise visitors’ experience via AI analysis.
This year, HGC has already held two series of HGC “Go Ahead, Performers!” music shows and continues to fulfill our commitment to supporting young musicians through this large-scale and exciting carnival event, provided a bigger and wider performance platform for buskers to sing and pursue their dreams. Future HGC events will continue to encourage young people to chase their dreams and showcase their talent.
