CHICAGO – June 20, 2023 – Vivacity Infrastructure Group, a trusted provider of communications infrastructure solutions and services, today announces that Haran C. Rashes will join the company as Vice President and General Counsel. Rashes will serve as the primary legal advisor for Vivacity Infrastructure Group and its three operating divisions – eX² Technology, Terra Consulting Group and Vivacity Networks. This includes handling all company and vendor contracts, corporate issues, regulatory, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and general commercial law.

Rashes brings more than 25 years of extensive federal and state litigation experience to his new position. Before joining Vivacity, he spent six years at Extenet, a privately held provider of digital infrastructure solutions, in various legal capacities. There, he served as the company’s Associate General Counsel, where he led the Regulatory Affairs team and advocated and lobbied before numerous municipalities, state legislatures, state regulatory commissions, the Federal Communications Commission, and Congress. He also was General Counsel at Clear Rate Communications and an attorney at Clark Hill PLC.

Rashes earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo College of Law and is admitted to practice law in Illinois, New York and Michigan. He has been a frequent speaker on wireless and broadband issues to such groups as NARUC (the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners), MARC (the Mid-America Regulatory Conference), Women in Wireless Leadership Forum, and The Michigan Wireless Association. He currently serves on the Board of The LegalMind Society, a non-profit organization offering peer support and mental health education to those in the legal community.
