Interference Sensing, a new Massive MIMO software from Ericsson, was recognized at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 event in Barcelona. The company is a recipient of the “Innovative Breakthrough in Mobile Technology” GTI Award 2023 as well as the Outstanding Award for significant contribution to the industry.
Announced on February 9, 2023, the Interference Sensing software optimizes mid-band Massive MIMO performance by minimizing inter-cell interference while increasing network capacity by up to 40 percent. This software was among the more than 10 new radio access network (RAN) and transport solutions unveiled by Ericsson earlier this month.
