Extending Access to Fiber Internet Across Communities in Arizona and California
PHOENIX, AZ and SAN DIEGO, CA – Wyyerd Fiber, a fiber-to-the-premise Internet Services Provider, has launched discounted services for qualifying customers under the FCC’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). The benefit provides a discount of $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households throughout all of Wyyerd’s serviceable areas in Arizona and California.
ACP is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare, and more. Customers are eligible for ACP if their household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line and may also be eligible based on other criteria including participation in assistance programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, WIC, Pell Grants, or Free and Reduced-Price Lunch.
Qualified customers can apply the discount to any one of Wyyerd’s standard service packages, with speeds from 300 Mbps up to 2 GIG total speed. All of Wyyerd’s plans are symmetrical, meaning that upload speeds are just as fast as download speeds. Wyyerd has also created a special 150 Mbps plan, available only to qualified ACP customers, which costs just $5 per month after the discount.
