As part of ongoing company efforts to support the victims of the recent devastating earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria, Ericsson is deploying Ericsson Response personnel in Türkiye.
Working on the ground in partnership with the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster, led by the United Nations World Food Programme, Ericsson Response technology and expertise is providing connectivity which supports humanitarians and their relief efforts.
The Ericsson Response deployment complements a company-matched fundraising initiative by Ericsson employees around the world for those affected in Türkiye and Syria.
Heather Johnson, Head of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility, Ericsson, says: “Ericsson employees are deeply concerned by the devastation and heartbreaking scenes following the earthquakes – and want to do what they can to help. Through Ericsson Response efforts on the ground in Türkiye and the company-matched donation drive, we aim to contribute to relief efforts in support of the people of Türkiye and Syria.”
