Frankfurt, Germany – May 10th 2022 Bulk Data Centers, the Nordics’ leading provider of ultra-scalable, highly connected and sustainable data centers has joined the German Datacenter Association (GDA).
Bulk Data Centers is an industrial developer, owner, and operator of data centers and data center services across the Nordics, with a portfolio of assets, capabilities, and partners to serve any data center customer requirement in a fast, secure, cost-efficient and sustainable way.
Established in 2018, the GDA promotes the interest and needs of data center operators to policy makers, the media and broader society, with the aim of sustainably improving the framework conditions for data center operators in Germany and promoting the growth of the industry and its perception in business, society and politics. The association is supported by leading research institutes, universities, local communities and a network of partners.
Germany is the second largest data center colocation market in Europe and is expected to show an annual growth rate of 3.73%. Demand for colocation services has in part been driven by the strength of the German automotive industry who have embraced hi-tech solutions for process animation.

The GERMAN DATA CENTER ASSOCIATION was established in 2018, is an association of operators and owners of data centers of all sizes. The federation is supported by leading research institutes, local communities and a network of partners.
The association intends to offer data center operators in Germany a platform to work together to promote the growth of the sector and raise awareness of the industry in business, society and politics. The GDA also represents members with regard to laws, regulations and standards, other provisions and political issues in the relevant committees. The stated objectives of the GERMAN DATACENTER ASSOCIATION are to sustainably improve the conditions for data center operators in Germany and to increase the investment attractiveness of German locations.
