DataBank Donation Supports Arbor Day Foundation’s “Time for Trees” Initiative

Asks for Volunteers for April 16 Tree-Planting Event

Dallas, TX – April 13, 2022 – DataBank, a leading provider of enterprise-class colocation, connectivity, and managed services, announced today that it has joined The Arbor Day Foundation as part of the foundation’s Time for Trees initiative. Through this effort, DataBank will support The Arbor Day Foundation’s goal of planting 100 million trees in forests and communities worldwide. As such, the DataBank team is proud to participate in an Arbor Day tree planting event to be held on April 16, 2022. The team will help with the planting of 200 trees as part of their commitment to the Arbor Day Foundation.

DataBank will donate $7,500 to the foundation in congruence with the construction of DataBank’s 200,000 square foot facility in Northern Virginia. The new facility, IAD3, will be built on the DataBank-owned land adjacent to its current site in Ashburn, VA.
