As the major independent European provider of data transmission services between Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Ukraine and on to Central and South East Asia, RETN’s team includes many Ukrainians. Many of us have family in Ukraine and many more have friends in Ukraine.
We are shocked and saddened by the conflict and we wish for its immediate end.
Our immediate focus has been on the priority of ensuring the safety and security of our colleagues and their families in Ukraine by all means at our disposal. Every part of RETN, from sales staff in neighbouring countries coordinating evacuation efforts, through to the management and shareholders are fully committed to this priority task. We are immensely proud and thankful to our colleagues for their boundless efforts at this time of need. Our hopes and prayers are for the safety of our colleagues, their families, our partners and all the people of Ukraine, who have always been supportive of RETN.
Our mission has always been to provide reliable, undisrupted internet services across our network. With the events that have unfolded so rapidly on the ground, this mission takes on a new importance. Access to reliable, consistent communications and unbiased information is essential for the safety of the people of Ukraine, for all those impacted and for any hope of peace. We continue to work hard to keep services running across our footprint and ensure the voices of those affected are heard.
