14th March 2022 – MS3, the wholesale-only fibre network operator, has announced that they have agreed a partnership with a brand-new Internet Service Provider, Hull Fibre. Hull Fibre will join MS3’s full-fibre network and deliver gigabit-capable broadband services to residents in Hull.
Locally based ISP, Hull Fibre, have been created by broadband experts to support competition in a city historically starved of choice of fixed line providers. They have partnered with MS3 at a time of rapid network expansion, which will see over 1,000 homes in Hull being added to the network footprint each week in 2022.
MS3, the original alternative fibre provider in Hull, is expanding its existing coverage by delivering a new underground fibre network across multiple locations in the city, allowing tens of thousands more homes and businesses to benefit from fibre choice. Something that the rest of the country, outside Hull, has taken for granted for many years.
Homes in the HU4 area are amongst the first residential properties in Hull with the opportunity to connect to the full-fibre service provided by Hull Fibre. Hull Fibre has already begun taking orders in these new areas and is seeing a positive response from residents.
Hull Fibre have released a range of services to homes, from 100-1000Mb including a social tariff for low-income households to help address the digital divide which still exists across Hull & the Northeast.
