Today, GlobalConnect Sweden completed the acquisition of communications operator Open Universe and SDU fiber assets from Telenor Sweden.
In November 2021, Telenor Sweden announced its intention to sell communications operator Open Universe and SDU fiber assets to GlobalConnect Sweden. In December 2021, the transaction got clearance by the Swedish Competition Authority and today, February 1 2022, the transaction was completed.
After the transaction GlobalConnect Sweden’s total number of connected private households amounts to 549 000.
