New diverse location allows for expanded flexibility to support existing customers with high-availability needs
Atlanta, GA, November XX, 2021 – FiberLight, LLC, a fiber infrastructure provider with more than 20 years of experience building and operating mission-critical, high-bandwidth networks, today announced the launch of the organization’s latest high-capacity internet access point-of-presence (PoP) in Houston, Texas. FiberLight’s latest PoP in Texas now joins its network of over 70 enhanced access points across the state of Texas.
FiberLight’s expanded presence and capabilities throughout Texas will provide the organization the ability to support a dedicated 100Gb Direct Internet Access (DIA), provide existing customers with diverse connection paths and full transport diversity.
FiberLight has a long history within the state of Texas of providing state-of-the-art, dense fiber networks to support customer needs. The newest enhanced dedicated internet access location will have multiple upstream providers to increase network uptime, speed, and enhance its DIA capabilities. The expanded IP location in Houston, coupled with the existing location in Dallas, provides FiberLight customers with the ability to take advantage of varied internet traffic patterns in and out of Texas. These new offerings greatly increase their network capacity and gives customers additional advantages around reliability, speed and route ability.
In addition to this new IP PoP, FiberLight has also upgraded its Dallas IP PoP routers to support additional capacity and 100 Gb connections.
