LOGIX Fiber Networks Expands Sales Team by Adding Three Industry Veterans
Hires will support LOGIX’s growth in wireless backhaul, wholesale and enterprise fiber sales in Texas
HOUSTON (October 19, 2021) – LOGIX Fiber Networks, the largest independent fiber network provider in Texas, is making key investments in mobile backhaul and enterprise customer sales with the addition of three seasoned telecom executives to its leadership team.
Jim Hintze assumes the role of VP of Wholesale Sales and brings over 20 years of sales, mobile, and carrier experience. Hintze will help drive LOGIX’s strategy to bring wireless backhaul services to national and regional mobile carriers. As mobile carriers continue to build out and densify their 5G towers to meet growing bandwidth demands, many are approaching LOGIX for a low-latency and reliable fiber solution to carry data from the carrier towers to its final destination. LOGIX’s fiber to the tower solutions provide a flexible approach to addressing the front-haul, mid-haul, or backhaul solution requirements of wireless service providers.
Hintze has previous experience working for other telecom companies including Transit Wireless, Frontier Communications, Fujitsu Network Communications, and Nokia Bell Labs.
LOGIX is also welcoming Chris Lyons as the VP of Retail and Channel Sales. Bringing nearly 25 years of experience in the telecom industry, Lyons will lead the retail sales group which includes directing sales strategies for the outside sales team, expanding relationships with the largest master agents and further penetrating the top enterprise accounts across Texas. Prior to joining the LOGIX sales team, Lyons worked as the VP/GM for Hargray Communications and previously worked as the VP of Commercial Sales for Frontier Communications.
With over 35 years of experience in the telecom industry, Randy Gromlich has been appointed the VP of Sales Operations. Gromlich has broad experience in business development, strategic planning, performance assurance, and sales operations. His background will assist LOGIX in driving more focused and efficient sales activities, as well as leveraging analytics and data to deliver on customer solutions. He will also lead the wholesale account management team. Most recently, he worked as the Director of Commercial Marketing Analytics with Frontier Communications and has previous experience managing Commercial Sales Operations for Frontier’s Western Region.

In addition to the new sales leaders, LOGIX also announced that Jill Peterson, who formerly served as Vice President of Information Resources at LOGIX, has taken a new position as Chief of Staff to CEO Craig Collins. In her new role, Peterson is focused on furthering Collins’ corporate strategy and growth vision for the company, as well as his commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
