For Pink October 2021, BSO is supporting Moroccan charity Les Amis du Ruban Rose (Friends of the Pink Ribbon).
The charity was founded by women with breast cancer that were seeking mental support and guidance to live with the disease regardless of whether they had just contracted it, were in remission, or healing. Les Amis du Ruban Rose regularly organises well-being gatherings around musical and sporting events to boost morale and provide psychological support.

About breast cancer prevention
Breast cancer symptoms vary but common ones include a lump or thickening in the breast tissue. Knowing those symptoms, self-checking your breasts, and regularly liaising with your doctor are some key prevention methods. Men can also be affected by breast cancer so chest-checking is also recommended. The earlier a cancer is detected, the better chance of beating it. #BSOPinkOctober
