Sin Limites: AT&T Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we are highlighting and celebrating what makes Hispanic stories so special. We will explore how the vast, diverse and evolving culture of the Hispanic community represents global perspectives and experiences that shape, educate and influence our growing society through our weekly themes starting today through Friday, October 15:

  • Connecting us: addressing the digital divide
  • Empowering us: providing economic empowerment opportunities
  • Seeing us: increasing workforce representation
  • Uniting us: highlighting our Hispanic frontline workers who proudly serve our customers

Our success as a global Hispanic community can be accelerated and fostered by empowering each other to feel understood, valued and appreciated. When I was growing up, my mother taught me one of the most important quotes that continues to guide me today, “Sin Limites.” It means “without limits” and never limiting opportunities by self-imposed perceptions that can ultimately be overcome to achieve success.

Across our society, Hispanics are shaping a future without limits and creating change to ensure there’s a seat at the table for all. We all have an important role to play in helping shape this future by leaning into change and accelerating the use of disruptive capabilities of our community.

This month, we will recognize several AT&T leaders as they share their journeys and the defining moments that shaped their life and career. We’ll also hear from Hispanic employees, ranging from customer-facing team members who are building connections and empowering people in their communities, to operational team members who support customer teams and champion an inclusive and diverse culture throughout the business.

And my colleague, Corey Anthony, will also host conversations with some of our key partners who are making impactful contributions to society by diversifying the renewable energy sector and empowering communities through supplier diversity.

I am honored to work alongside passionate and dedicated colleagues, leaders, and community partners who encourage and facilitate the advancement of the Hispanic community.

Join us in recognizing the stories of Hispanic people during Hispanic Heritage Month and beyond. Let’s kick-off our celebrations by hearing from our AT&T Hispanic executives in our “Leadership Voices” video here:
