HONG KONG, 19 September 2021 – HGC Global Communications (HGC) is pleased about the further expansion of telecom portfolio of I Squared Capital, following the completion of I Squared Capital’s acquisition of network infrastructure and data centre assets previously owned by GTT Communications, as well as the unveil of new brand, EXA Infrastructure, the dedicated digital infrastructure platform connecting Europe and North America owned by I Squared Capital.
EXA Infrastructure now serves 1,500 customers across 103,000 kilometres of fibre network that connects 300 cities.
HGC, the first telecom asset of I Squared Capital since 2017, will make full use of the enhanced telecom portfolio and the synergies after the acquisition so as to seize the advantages and capture the potential opportunities in the future. HGC will continue to uplift the business in Hong Kong and Asia, as well as to further extend the global network footprint and strengthen the market position around the world.
