Integrated business establishes 365 as the leading network-centric colocation provider in strategic edge markets across the eastern U.S.
Norwalk, CT — Sept. 28, 2021 — 365 Data Centers, a leading provider of network-centric colocation and other Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions, announces that it has fully integrated the Atlantic Metro Communications business, which it acquired last year. The integration ensures that 365’s current and future customers will benefit from the best possible hybrid colocation, network, and cloud infrastructure and services.
In November 2020, 365 acquired Atlantic Metro Communications. The transaction positioned 365 to become the largest, privately owned and fully-hybrid Infrastructure-as-a-Service (“IaaS”) provider focused on the Eastern U.S. The deal transformed 365, a network-centric colocation operator, into a more competitive IaaS provider. The company now operates 13 data centers, 84 other Points of Presence (“PoPs”), and seven cloud regions, delivering private and hybrid virtual solutions with direct connectivity to all the hyperscale cloud operators.
“With Atlantic Metro fully integrated, 365 Data Centers is the leading network-centric colocation provider in strategic, primarily edge markets in the northeast quadrant of the United States, Tennessee, and Florida,” said Bob DeSantis, Chief Executive Officer of 365 Data Centers. “We have expanded our geographic and infrastructure footprint, complemented our existing IaaS offerings, and significantly increased our customer base, revenue, and cash flow – all of which greatly benefit our customers.”
365 offers a comprehensive suite of solutions that includes secure and reliable edge colocation, nationwide network connectivity, cloud compute and storage, DRaaS, BaaS, and business continuity services. Backed by their 24/7 customer support teams, 365’s mission is to deliver best-in-class colocation, network, and cloud services, enabling customers to reduce costs, drive innovation, and improve their customers’ experience. 365’s data center facilities are located in Boca Raton; Bridgewater (New Jersey); Buffalo; Chicago; Commack (New York); Detroit; Fort Lauderdale; Herndon (Virginia); Indianapolis; Nashville; Philadelphia; New York City; and Tampa.
The company remains strategically disciplined, focusing on acquiring and expanding network-centric colocation assets and complementary network and virtual services in edge markets.
