Tbaytel Selects Ribbon’s Virtualized Solutions to Modernize its Voice Communications Network

Ribbon’s network transformation solutions provide Tbaytel the ability to offer its customers premium quality voice services, while significantly reducing power costs and accelerating time to market

Plano, TX  Ribbon Communications Inc. (NASDAQ: RBBN), a global provider of real time communications software and IP Optical networking solutions to service providers, enterprises, and critical infrastructure sectors, today announced that Tbaytel, the largest independently owned telecommunications provider in Canada, has selected key components from Ribbon’s fixed voice core solutions suite to modernize its communications network. Ribbon is deploying its industry-leading Virtual C20 Call ControllerG6 Media GatewayDiameter Signaling Controller (DSC)Policy and Routing Server (PSX) and STIR/SHAKEN (identity assurance) solutions.
