Everstream Consistently Ranks Among Top Workplaces, Leading Employers

Press Releases – Jun 28, 2021 -CLEVELAND – Everstream, the business-only fiber network, now has been honored with 18 annual top workplace awards in the past 5 years. Today, Everstream announced 2021 honors for Top Workplaces and Best Employers in Ohio, marking its sixth consecutive and second consecutive awards for each, respectively. The company kicked off 2021 with a USA Top Workplace 2021 award, the first time Everstream was honored on a national scale.

“We are grateful to be recognized for fostering a business environment that we hold so dear. Everstream’s culture and our commitment to employees are central in our daily interactions with customers and one another,” said Everstream CEO Brett Lindsey.

Everstream has earned the Top Workplaces designation since 2016. Organized by The Plain Dealer, the program measures data on employee engagement, standout cultures, and attracting and maintaining top talent. Award recipients are determined solely by anonymous employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage, LLC, an employee engagement technology partner.

This year’s 12th annual Top Workplaces list ranks 175 recipients and focuses on how the region’s top employers supported their employees during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“As an essential business, Everstream’s top priority was and continues to be finding the daily balance to keep our employees safe while delivering essential services to our customers — providing a safe working environment; holding company meetings and events virtually as needed; and delivering routine communication to act in the best interest of our team members,” Lindsey added.

Everstream also has been named a 2021 Best Employers in Ohio. Everstream first earned this honor in 2020. The annual list is created by Best Companies Group in partnership with Crain’s Cleveland Business and Crain’s Content Studio-Cleveland.

In total, 42 companies received this year’s statewide award, which is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Ohio, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses. To be considered, companies participate in a two-part survey that evaluates employee experience — which is worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation — as well as workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics.
