Every Story Lived: AT&T Employees Celebrate Their AAPI Heritage
“When one says Asia or Asian, it actually means so many different things.”-Shiz Suzuki, AVP, Sponsorships and Experimental Marketing
The AAPI diaspora includes a variety of people, cultures, stories and perspectives that make up one of the most expansive and diverse communities in the world. To celebrate AAPI Heritage Month, AT&T is providing a platform for AAPI employees and community leaders to share their lived experiences and perspectives.
It is critical for AT&T to employ and work with those who reflect and are involved in the communities we serve. Connecting through language, tradition, and shared experience are key to upholding our values and standing for equality wherever it is needed.
We recently chatting with a number of AT&T leaders to learn what their heritage means to them and their families and friends. Enjoy their stories by watching the video above. And remember that all stories from the AAPI communities are essential to the fabric of our society. It is up to us to make sure they’re shared, heard, and celebrated.
