To tackle the increasing complexity of network management in the ICT industry, Huawei released the Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) strategy in 2018. iMaster MAE plays a significant role in this strategy, establishing itself as a key tool for the digital transformation of operators. Leveraging intelligent technologies and expert experience, iMaster MAE continuously facilitates the evolution of network O&M towards intelligence and autonomy. Using the open architecture of “hierarchical and domain-based autonomy and vertical cross-domain collaboration”, MAE simplifies network O&M and management in the ICT industry. Thanks to industry-leading, large-scale network management capabilities and intelligent algorithms, MAE provides high-value, open, and collaborative xExpress, xTurbo, and xSuite solutions. These solutions help customers achieve efficient network construction, intelligent collaborative O&M, and agile service provisioning, in turn accelerating the digital transformation of the ICT industry. Having already been put into large-scale commercial use worldwide, MAE helps customers build network automation capabilities in the 5G era and promotes the rapid development of 5G services.

As the old saying goes, there is strength in numbers. Based on the open architecture of iMaster MAE, Huawei will continue working with global operators and industry ecosystem partners to achieve the ultimate goal of realizing fully autonomous driving networks. Although service and O&M processes may vary with operator networks, iMaster MAE opens atomic APIs, scenario-based APIs, and intent-driven APIs to implement cross-domain collaboration and information exchange between machines. Operators and industry partners can implement secondary development and orchestration based on the open programmable environment and abundant scenario-based API libraries. They can also quickly customize corresponding service processes to implement E2E network automation for planning, construction, maintenance, optimization, and marketing in the B2C, B2B, and B2H smart home broadband fields. This accelerates the digital transformation of operators, drives a development boom in the 5G industry, and helps build a fully connected, intelligent world.
