ORLANDO, Fla. (March 1, 2021) – Summit Broadband (“Summit”), a leading fiber-optics telecommunications provider in Central and Southwest Florida, today announces it has added 140 route miles of fiber in the Tampa/Clearwater/St. Petersburg area. Summit provides its fiber-based solutions – including internet, phone, video and managed services – to residential, business, hospitality and wholesale customers, as well as educational institutions, including grades K-12.
The addition to Summit’s wholly owned infrastructure establishes a conduit and fiber network in and around Hillsborough County that provides Summit with a solid foothold to build out its network and significantly improve the quality of services provided to the surrounding communities. Summit will use new fiber through existing conduit, giving customers a new choice for their telecom services.
