OMAHA, Neb – February 2, 2021 – eX² Technology, a Vivacity, LLC company and a single source solution for those seeking to build, scale or future proof their communications infrastructure, announced the appointments of Scott Bergs as President and Chief Executive Officer, and Jay Jorgensen as Chief Operating Officer. Together, Bergs and Jorgensen bring a combined 55 years of telecom industry expertise and experience.
Bergs, who is responsible for all facets of Vivacity Networks, also a Vivacity, LLC company, and eX² Technology, including providing the strategic vision and oversight of the companies’ operating businesses, is a proven leader with more than 30 years of industry experience. He has held positions as an executive and senior manager, investor and advisor at several communications infrastructure companies. Previously, he operated in executive positions at Neutral Path Communications, Cleveland Unlimited, LLC, d/b/a Revol Wireless, and Alltel. With his wide range of success and knowledge, Bergs has also been a partner in the private investment firm Key City Ventures since 2008 and a member of its Board, as well as serving on the Board for several of its invested companies.
With an extensive industry background that spans more than 25 years, Jorgensen assisted in eX² Technology’s formation in 2015 and previously held the position as Vice President of Operations. Now as Chief Operating Officer, Jorgensen oversees the company’s Operations and Maintenance, Business Development, Sales and Project Development departments and continues to be responsible for the execution and delivery of complex communications infrastructure networks. Prior to eX², he served as the Vice President of Operations at G4S Technology/Adesta LLC. There, he was directly involved in providing and overseeing numerous Operations and Maintenance programs for both public and private transportation and critical infrastructure entities and managing and operating a nationwide Tier 1, 2 and 3 Systems Maintenance Call Center and Network Operations Center.
