Fiber Data Internet Exchange (FD-IX) announces Indianapolis to St. Louis Fabric extension

[Indianapolis Indiana November 2020] FD-IX announces the extension of their Indianapolis peering fabric to now include St. Louis. Peers on the Indianapolis peering fabric are now able to peer with networks on the St. Louis Fabric and vice versa.

Scott LePere of FD-IX says “By extending our peering fabric between Indianapolis and St. Louis we are able to increase the number of networks available to our members”. LePere goes on to say, “The Distance between the two cities will allow for sub 10ms peering across the fabric, brining even more networks to both markets. “

FD-IX offers peering ports at 210 Tucker and 900 walnut in St. Louis. In Indianapolis, FD-IX offers ports at 733 West Henry, 401 Shadeland and 701 Henry Street. Participants are encouraged to contact FD-IX for details on this new offering.
