Earlier this month, more than 40 AT&T women received honors for their achievements at the annual Women of Color in STEM Conference held virtually. Each year, the conference recognizes the significant contributions in STEM by women of diverse backgrounds who create innovation and inspiration.
This year, AT&T recognitions ranged from Professional Peer-Reviewed awards to Outstanding Achievement awards including technology All Stars and Rising Stars.
“AT&T is thrilled to have more than 40 women recognized at this year’s WOC STEM event,” said Corey Anthony, Chief Diversity and Development Officer, AT&T. “Standing for equality is one of AT&T’s core values and we are dedicated to putting resources towards creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. Now more than ever, it’s imperative for communities of color to bring our voices together and lead our future generations to success.“
At AT&T, with nearly 15,000 AT&T women working in STEM-related roles, and over 1,100 earned patents.
