Cecin will discuss potential changes to wireless infrastructure in a post-COVID-19 world

The webinar titled, “COVID-19 & Network Deployment,” takes place Tuesday, July 28, and will discuss what wireless infrastructure deployments will look like post-COVID-19. Cecin states that the pandemic has affected and continues to affect multiple aspects of life, including network builds. Telecom infrastructure construction was deemed an “essential service” in the early stages of the pandemic, meaning important projects and maintenance would continue despite many other businesses closing. But “businesses took action with safety precautions”, according to Cecin, “providing workers with proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and limiting the number of workers allowed at a site. The COVID-era construction site looks much different than it did before.”

There is no way of knowing right now if there are any aspects of life during the pandemic that will become part of the ‘new normal’ – but the industry must be prepared either way.
