The fully pre-integrated 5G NR NSA Evaluation System will enable customers and partners to test and evaluate 5G Networks
Dublin, Ireland – May 21, 2020 – Benetel, developers of leading-edge hardware platform solutions for the telecommunications industry, today announced the launch of its first 5G NR Non-Standalone (NSA) Evaluation System. The 5G NSA system, based on Split 7.2 ORAN interface, is targeted for laboratory, research, and test integration purposes. This innovative system enables interested parties to evaluate, understand, and familiarize themselves with virtualized end-to-end solutions and provides them with a path to deployment grade solution.
This fully pre-integrated system package contains every piece of equipment necessary to be operational right out of the box. The package includes Open Air Interface (OAI) Stack and NSA Core preconfigured on Dell servers, Benetel Radio Units (RUs) (both 4G Band 7 LTE RU and 5G Band N78), as well as all connectors, Test SIMs, and cabling required to run the system. Additionally, Benetel is providing a suite of Software Test Applications with the Evaluation Platform to facilitate functional and performance testing.
