YORK, PA — It is with profound shock and sadness that we announce that Felipe J. Alvarez, CEO of United Fiber & Data, unexpectedly passed away late Monday night. On behalf of our board of directors, management team and employees, we extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to Felipe’s family during this difficult time. Felipe was an outstanding leader, visionary, and a tireless advocate for the telecommunication industry. But most importantly, Felipe was a beloved and devoted husband, father, and friend. We all will miss his kindness, humor, and tenacious spirit in our lives.
