Tennessee Tornadoes and Severe Weather

An update on our network and our efforts to support customers affected by the severe weather and tornadoes in Tennessee:

Following severe weather and tornadoes in Tennessee, our wireless network continues to perform well and is operating above 99% of normal. Our wireline service is almost completely restored too. Areas that were previously inaccessible are being cleared for our teams to make final repairs and restore service to the small number of customers still affected. We are working as quickly and safely as conditions allow and appreciate our customers’ patience.

Customer Relief Offers

Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the severe weather in Tennessee and our customers who have friends and family there.

We’re automatically issuing credits and waiving additional charges beginning 12:00AM on March 3, 2020 through 11:59PM on March 9, 2020 to provide unlimited data, voice and text for AT&T wireless customers and AT&T prepaid customers in impacted areas across Tennessee.*

Customers in these areas may still receive data alert notifications during these protected dates, but billing will reflect the correct data charges. Credits will post in 2-3 billing cycles.

This applies to customers in these zip codes:

1 Location based on billing address for AT&T wireless customers and phone number for AT&T PREPAID customers. Credits will post in 2-3 billing cycles for AT&T wireless customers and within 30 days for AT&T PREPAID customers. Applicable taxes may be estimates and may include administrative and government fees. Dates based on local time zones.
