“Increasingly, applications are containerized and managed by Kubernetes. By default, the environment it creates causes complicated distributed applications for DevOps teams to maintain and secure,” said Bikash Koley, Chief Technology Officer at Juniper Networks. “Our Contrail software solutions aim to simplify network management by helping users solve today’s most difficult Kubernetes infrastructure challenges with security, scale and simplicity.”
At the show, Juniper will demo its Contrail offerings, including Contrail Enterprise Multicloud, which gives organizations the ability to operate their network as one domain, even though endpoints are spread across multiple namespaces and infrastructure providers all over the world. Contrail enhances Kubernetes environments through secure microsegmentation, analytics and the ability to seamlessly connect workloads in multiple clouds. It also offers defense in depth for microservice applications, encryption between Kubernetes nodes, support for bare-meal gateways, bolstered policy enforcement and added visualization of networking and security.
Booth Highlights
Juniper’s onsite experts will be conducting product demonstrations of Contrail Enterprise Multicloud and Tungsten Fabric at the booth (P22) throughout the event. The Contrail Enterprise Multicloud demonstration will highlight features, including:
- Service chaining with cSRX
- Multi cluster Kubernetes across VPCs in AWS
- App Flow/Communication visualization
In addition, there will be a demonstration of the new features in Contrail Insights, first announced at NXTWORK. This innovative solution provides historical and real-time visibility into data center operations, improving operational speed, experience and reliability.
Session Highlights
Juniper will present several sessions on Contrail and open-source Tungsten Fabric focused on the technology roadmap and new innovations at the Tungsten Fabric Developer Forum.
Additional details on the sessions are available here.
Executive Briefings
