Paris, France, November 11, 2019] Huawei and StorTrec AG have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to advance support service for Huawei's intelligent computing business. The MoU was signed by Ronald May, CEO of StorTrec, and Adam Jiang, President of Huawei Intelligent Computing BU (ICBU) Europe at HUAWEI ECO-CONNECT EUROPE 2019 in Paris, Huawei’s flagship event for the European ICT industry.
The MoU sets a milestone for deeper collaboration between Huawei and StorTrec. Both parties will leverage their expertise to jointly build a service delivery network across Europe, and team up to provide customers with quality, trustworthy services for server maintenance, achieving a win-win for all.

Recently, Huawei ICBU began promoting third-party maintenance service for Huawei x86 servers. The move is a key part of Huawei’s strategy to transform the company’s intelligent computing business in markets outside China.
StorTrec is an Authorized Service Partner (ASP) for Huawei in Europe. It stands out with strong business capabilities and wide coverage. Both parties are confident this is the beginning of collaboration that will grow. The joint effort will contribute to a stronger service ecosystem for intelligent computing, where Huawei, its partners, and customers will all share in the results of success.
