WANRACK RECENTLY NAMED GEORGE TOWNSEND AS THE COMPANY’S NEW PRESIDENT

Lenexa, KS (June 10, 2019) — On Monday, June 10, 2019, Rob Oyler, WANRack’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) promoted George Townsend, formerly known as the company’s Chief Operations Officer (COO) to President and COO.

George’s primary responsibility in this new role is the day to day leadership of the company. He will oversee the Operations, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Finance aspects of WANRack. Additionally, he will lead the development of overall strategic planning and the future direction of the company. He will also work closely with our CEO and ownership regarding organic and inorganic growth strategies.

“George is a phenomenal leader who has distinguished himself during his tenure here at WANRack,” said Rob Oyler. “His strategic thinking, incredible business acumen, and outstanding reputation within our industry will be a tremendous asset in this new role.”

George joined the company in October of 2018, bringing 23 years of experience in the carrier and enterprise side of the telecom industry. He started when the WANRack team had recently expanded into 18 states. Throughout his time, he has exceeded expectations and gone above and beyond to assist the team in growing into now, 21 states.
