Mother’s Day is one of the busiest Sundays of the year on the Verizon network? Father’s Day is usually a close second.
In 2017, more calls were made on Mother’s Day than any other Sunday that year, up 8.2% over a typical Sunday.
In 2018, Mother’s Day was the second busiest call day of any Sunday – up 11% over other Sundays. In first place was the Sunday before Christmas (though it was super close – less than a one percent difference).
While Mother’s Day is usually the busiest Sunday of the year for calling, it’s not the busiest calling day of the year. Weekdays typically lead the way in call volume.
