Binero Group chooses Interxion as base for cloud expansion

Stockholm May 15, 2019 – INTERXION HOLDING NV (NYSE:INXN, news), a leading European provider of carrier and cloud-neutral colocation data centre services, today announced that the Swedish company Binero Group will use Interxion as an important base in its continued expansion. Binero Group offers digital infrastructure services for both companies and individuals in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic region through its public IT infrastructure service Binero Cloud and related services.

“Interxion becomes an important strategic partner for us in our continued growth in Sweden and the Nordic region, and long term also internationally”, says Patrik Axelsson, CSO at Binero Group. “With what I would say is the best connectivity in the industry, its strong focus on providing sustainable data centre services and high security, Interxion meets our high demands in these areas.”

By using Interxion as one of its key nodes for Binero Cloud the company increases redundancy, while customers get access to even faster connections for reduced latency.

Customers to Binero Group will also take full advantage of the breadth of cloud services available at Interxion and are able to connect directly to Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and IBM Cloud Services. Since Binero Group also establishes a point of presence in Interxion's data centre, customers can choose traditional hosting for parts of their IT. All in all, it creates the best conditions for building a hybrid cloud environment.

“With its focus on IT infrastructure services and with its clear Swedish profile, Binero Group is positioned in a very interesting way, and we look forward to working with them in their continued expansion”, says Alexander Kehrer, Nordic Sales and Marketing Manager at Interxion. “As they are now established in our campus and customers can join their cloud service directly in the data centre, we add another important component to our digital ecosystem.”
