Omaha, Nebraska – For our customers impacted by the Midwest floods, Verizon is saying “We’ve Got Your Back.” Through March 25, Verizon is providing unlimited calling, texting and data to its postpaid and prepaid customers who reside in the parts of Iowa and Nebraska that have been most impacted by the flood waters. In addition, to help with the relief efforts, Verizon is making a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross.

“Unprecedented flooding has disrupted the lives of thousands of families in the Midwest,” said Jonathan LeCompte, West Area president for Verizon. “We’re waiving overages to give our customers some peace of mind during this difficult time.”

Verizon retail stores throughout the area remain open to assist customers. However, we suggest contacting your local store before visiting as hours may vary depending on local impact.

To support the American Red Cross, text the word REDCROSS to 90999 and $10 will be added to your Verizon Wireless bill upon confirmation with your billing zip code.

Customers in impacted areas without unlimited plans won’t experience overages.
