Dublin – 17 December, 2018 – INTERXION HOLDING NV (NYSE:INXN, news), a leading European provider of carrier and cloud-neutral colocation data centre services, today announced that it has been selected by Welltel, a rapidly growing Irish-owned communications company, to host its core business services that comprises managed connectivity along with unified communication solutions.
Welltel provides telecoms and connectivity solutions to over 3,000 customers both in Ireland and internationally. The company has featured for five consecutive years in the Deloitte Fast 50 awards and is continuing to expand its footprint.
As a growing operator, Welltel decided to open a 3rd POP in Ireland by partnering with a colocation provider who could offer them the flexibility they need to scale quickly. In selecting a colocation partner, Welltel carried out a thorough selection process before choosing Interxion. Interxion outperformed significant competition in the sector to win Welltel’s business. Interxion’s skills and available resources to design a solution with Welltel and its ability to deliver on time as they expand, were key factors in the decision.
