Norwalk, CT — November 13, 2018 — 365 Data Centers, a leading provider of hybrid data center services for carrier, content and enterprise customers, announces the hiring of Michael Kickliter as Carrier Account Director. Kickliter’s appointment continues a series of major personnel talent acquisitions for 365 in 2018, including Tony Franchi as Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Jeff Slapp as Vice President, Cloud Services & Support and James Ashton as Director, Network Engineering, in support of the company’s transformation from a colocation to a hybrid IT services provider.
Kickliter has over 20 years in the tech and telecom sectors with a strong background and proven experience in sales, account management, IP, network, data center, cloud, security, and managed services. He started his career with AT&T and has been working in the data center and cloud industries since 2002. Kickliter will provide oversight of 365’s carrier accounts while maintaining and growing the company’s base of service provider clients, signing new customers and providing exceptional account management.
“Michael’s proven experience and industry knowledge positions him perfectly to oversee our carrier sales group and highlight the new and exciting solutions we can provide to service providers, large and small,” said Franchi. “In less than two years, 365 has expanded its data center footprint and coast-to-coast fiber network, added cloud and virtual managed services offerings, completed major network enhancements and revamped its channel program. Michael will play a significant role in helping carriers best leverage the enhanced 365 portfolio. I’m thrilled to have him on the team.”
“I am thrilled to be coming to 365 Data Centers during such a revolutionary time at the company,” comments Kickliter. “I’m looking forward to shining a bright light on the company’s innovative spirit and customer-centric philosophy. We have amazing solutions to offer the service provider community, and I’m looking forward to helping our existing and future carrier customers with our comprehensive, growing portfolio and ‘Technology Humanized’ approach.”
