Rascom expands its presence at DE-CIX’s Internet Exchanges
Rascom, a long-time DE-CIX partner, has expanded its presence at our IXs. In September, they expanded the bandwidth of their IP network in Germany, and connected to DE-CIX in Dusseldorf, Hamburg, and Munich. In addition, they upgraded to 100G in Frankfurt, and also connected to DE-CIX in New York.
Almost 10 years of successful cooperation
Rascom joined DE-CIX in Frankfurt back in 2009, and became a DE-CIX reseller in 2012. During those years, DE-CIX kept developing by increasing the number of connected networks as well as by expanding its geographic presence. In order to meet market demands, Rascom decided to arrange three more connection points to DE-CIX in Germany’s largest metropolises with highly developed business and IT infrastructure.
We are happy to say that it turned out that DE-CIX was again the most efficient solution, and the DE-CIX services in place enabled Rascom to achieve the necessary results within a minimum of time.
