Netrality enables reliable access to FiberLight network in Southeast region
NEW YORK, June 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Netrality Properties, owner and operator of highly interconnected network-neutral data centers and colocation facilities, today announced that FiberLight has established a Point of Presence (PoP) in the Meet Me Room at Netrality’s 1301 Fannin. Netrality’s Houston data center is strategically located in the nation’s fourth largest city and will provide FiberLight customers with direct access to a critical connectivity hub.
The deployment is FiberLight’s first PoP with Netrality and will expand access to FiberLight’s fiber optic network in the Southeast region of the U.S. Positioned in the center of Houston’s metro business district, Netrality offers FiberLight the ability to provide its customers with reliable access to FiberLight’s secure and flexible network. Netrality’s interconnection infrastructure will also enable FiberLight’s customers to fully utilize its various optical route options.
“By partnering with Netrality Properties in the heart of Houston’s central business district, FiberLight has established itself as the newest key interconnection player in one of the largest markets in the U.S.,” said Mike Ellison, FiberLight’s Vice President of Enterprise Sales. “FiberLight’s continued investments in Texas have helped it ensure it is a true alternative for scalable bandwidth up to 100G for mission-critical Ethernet, Dedicated Internet Access, and Cloud Connect solutions. We are committed to ensuring organizations have reliable access to diverse first- and last-mile optical routes into and out of Houston and establishing a meaningful presence within Netrality’s premier data center is an important part of that commitment, especially since many of our customers are already taking down colocation space at 1301 Fannin.”
“We are excited to welcome FiberLight to 1301 Fannin,” said Ed Grundhauser, Vice President of Sales at Netrality Properties. “Establishing a presence at 1301 Fannin will be a key component to giving FiberLight’s enterprise customers reliable access to such a crucial connection point and we are happy to be helping FiberLight to achieve its goal of providing a scalable fiber network for its customers with our unrivaled interconnection infrastructure.”
