PITTSBORO, N.C., March 5, 2018 – CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE:CTL, news, filings), a leading broadband service provider in North Carolina, today announced it will offer connectivity speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second to residents in the Chatham Park planned development in Pittsboro.
CenturyLink has entered into an agreement with Chatham Park to build a fiber network with some of the fastest residential internet speeds available and network redundancy for businesses. CenturyLink will deliver fiber into every Chatham Park home and business to enable Wi-Fi broadband internet connections with symmetrical speeds up to 1 gigabit for residences and up to 10 gigabits for businesses.
The co-branded CenturyLink® ON™ platform enables a new homeowner to access a web portal, review and select their desired internet speed, accept applicable terms and conditions, pay with a credit or debit card, and immediately begin using their Wi-Fi internet service.
CenturyLink, the second largest U.S. communications provider to global enterprise customers, will offer business-class services and solutions to commercial, educational, medical and retail businesses within Chatham Park.
